Setting up Region, Branch, Department, Position

Introduction: This section helps you set up the organizational structure of your business. You need to set up by Region, Branch, Department, and Position.

Region: If your business has multiple regions, you can create this section.

Branch: A branch is a child of a Region, usually where employees work.

Department: The departments in the company and which branch they belong to.

Position: The job titles built within the company.

Region:

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to the Avatar section at the top right. 

Step 2: Go to the Business section and the Regions tab

Step 3: Click Create to name the Region or set a code (if necessary).

Step 4: Click the ... icon to edit or delete.

Note: If you delete a Region, it may affect the permissions of employees. For example, a Manager of Region A, which has many employees. When you delete Region A and do not create another Region to replace it, this person will not see their employees.

Branch:

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to the Avatar section in the upper right corner. 

Step 2: Go to the Business section and the Branches tab

Step 3: Click Create to name the Branch or set a code (if necessary). 

Note: Subordinate means this branch will be under which branch in the organizational chart.

Step 4: Click the ... icon to edit or delete.

Note: If you delete a Branch, it may affect the permissions of employees. For example, a Manager of Branch A has many employees under Branch A. When you delete Branch A and do not create another Branch to replace it, this Manager will not see their employees.

Department:

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to the Avatar section in the upper right corner.

Step 2: Go to the Business section and the Departments tab

Step 3: Click Create to name the Department or set a code (if necessary). 

Note: Subordinate means this department will be under which department in the organizational chart.

Step 4: Click the ... icon to edit or delete.

Note: If you delete a Department, it may affect the permissions of employees. For example, a Manager of Department A has many employees under Department A. When you delete Department A and do not create another department to replace it, this Manager will not see their employees.

Position:

Steps:

Step 1: Log in to the Web and go to the Avatar section at the top right. 

Step 2: Go to the Business section and the Positions tab

Step 3: Click on Create to name the Job Title or set a code. 

Step 4: Click on the ... icon to edit or delete

Note: If you have many small positions within a larger position, you should choose the subordinate position. For example, Marketing Team Leader is a general job title. Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 are sub-position.
