Instruction for clocking in using a time clock machine

Introduction: When you clock in using a time clock machine, the data will be synchronized to the Tanca system. You can check your attendance data on your phone and the administration system.
 

Steps:

Step 1: Download the Tanca application from the app store.

Step 2: Log in to your existing account.

Step 3: Check the notification when clocking in using the time clock machine.

Step 4: Review your attendance history in the Attendance section and calculate your working hours.

FAQ:

• Why am I not receiving notifications on my phone?

If your time clock machine is directly integrated, you will receive notifications on your phone immediately when you clock in. If it is indirectly integrated, it may take 3-5 minutes for employees to receive notifications on their phones due to data processing time.

• Why does the time clock machine show successful clocking, but I am not recorded?

It may be due to incorrect settings of the allowed time frame for clocking in and out. You need to check and verify this time frame.

• If my company switches to a new time clock machine, will it affect the attendance data of the previous machine?

If your company needs to switch to a new time clock machine, Tanca's technical team will support you in connecting the new machine to the system. Attendance data on the old machine will NOT be affected in any way when you switch to a new machine.

• Why did I clock in on the time clock machine but the phone still shows 'Clock In' button?

For the time clock machine, Tanca scans the data from the machine but does not determine whether it is a Clock In or Clock Out status. However, this data will be automatically placed in the appropriate shift to determine the Clock In or Clock Out status. For the phone app, Tanca determines the status displayed as either Clock In or Clock Out.

Even though these two sets of data may appear differently on the phone, they are still synchronized and recorded for attendance. Therefore, if you have clocked in on the time clock machine and it is recorded on your phone, you can be reassured that the system has recorded your attendance.
