Twice a day: once at the start of your shift, once at the end. The exact clock-in method depends on your company's configuration.
Steps
- Open the Tanca app.
- Tap the clock-in button on the home screen.
- The app checks the conditions — location, WiFi network, or face, depending on your company's configuration.
- Wait for the confirmation message. Your clock-in time appears on the screen right away.
- At the end of your shift, repeat exactly the same steps to clock out.

Your company may use one of these methods
| Method | What you need to do | Common problems |
|---|---|---|
| GPS | Turn on location and stand within the allowed area | Inaccuracy indoors and in high-rise buildings |
| WiFi | Connect to the correct company WiFi network | The phone automatically switches to 4G |
| Face | Put your face in the frame, with enough light and no face mask | Backlighting, wearing sunglasses |
| QR code | Scan the code placed at the work location | The code is covered or faded |
| Offline | Clock in as usual; the data is sent once you're back online | Don't uninstall the app before you're back online |
If your company has enabled offline clock-in, you can still clock in when there is no connection. The data is stored on your phone and sent automatically when the connection returns. Don't uninstall the app or clear its data before the data has been sent.
