The work schedule in the app is the official source of information about your shifts. Schedules posted in the store or in group chats are for reference only — if the two differ, the schedule in the app is the correct one.
Viewing your weekly schedule
- Open the Tanca app and go to Work Schedule.
- The default screen shows the current week.
- Swipe left to see next week, or right to see last week.
- Tap a day to see the details of that day's shift.
What each shift shows
| Information | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Shift name | The shift name set by your company, for example Morning Shift, Kitchen Night Shift |
| Start time — end time | The official hours of the shift; this is the reference for late arrival and early departure |
| Mid-shift break | The break period deducted from working hours |
| Branch | The work location for that shift — pay attention when your company has multiple locations |
An empty day cell means you have no shift that day. An empty day is not automatically a paid day off — leave requires a separate request (article B8).
When the schedule hasn't appeared yet
There are three reasons why you may not see next week's schedule yet:
- Your manager hasn't published the shifts yet. If your company has publishing mode enabled, the schedule only appears after your manager clicks publish.
- Registration hasn't opened yet. Your company limits how many weeks ahead you can view.
- Your manager hasn't finished scheduling. Ask your branch manager directly.
Three things to do every week
- Open the app at the start of the week to view the whole week's schedule and note it in your personal calendar.
- Double-check the afternoon before each shift — the schedule may have changed.
- If you see an error, report it immediately; don't wait until the end of the month when payroll has already been finalized.
When the schedule in the app differs from reality
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| The app shows a morning shift but your manager tells you to work the afternoon shift | Message your manager to update it in the system before the shift starts |
| The app shows no shift but you're called in to work | Ask your manager to schedule the shift in the system; otherwise your working hours won't be counted |
| The shift shows the wrong branch | Notify your manager — clocking in at the wrong GPS location will be rejected |
| The shift was swapped to someone else but still shows your name | The shift swap request hasn't been approved yet (article B7-12) |
Turn on notifications for the Tanca app to be alerted when your schedule changes. See article A3-06 for how to turn them on.
