Check these before rolling out, and come back here first whenever the system runs slowly or displays incorrectly.

Always keep your browser up to date. Most "blank page" or "button does nothing" issues reported to support are caused by an outdated browser or a corrupted cache.
Screens and devices
- Minimum resolution 1366 × 768. Multi-column admin screens such as timesheets and payroll display best at 1600 × 900 or higher.
- For payroll tables with many columns, use a wide screen or scroll horizontally within the table instead of zooming out the browser.
Mobile app
- Download Tanca from the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
- Enable the Location permission if your company uses GPS attendance — choose "allow while using the app".
- Enable the Camera permission if you use face recognition attendance or QR code scanning.
- Enable Notifications to receive clock-in reminders and requests awaiting approval.
- On Android, turn off battery optimization for the Tanca app so background notifications are not blocked.
TO BE CONFIRMED WITH THE ENGINEERING TEAM: minimum iOS and Android versions, installation size, and the lowest supported browser version. Do not fill these into the article until official figures are available.
Network and connectivity
- Tanca runs over HTTPS on port 443; no additional ports need to be opened for regular users.
- If your company uses a firewall or proxy that filters by domain, the Tanca domains must be allowed — contact support for the list.
- WiFi attendance requires the access points of each branch to be registered in advance.

Hardware devices
- Fingerprint and card attendance machines: require a local network connection to the sync server.
- AI Camera: requires a power supply, a stable network and a well-lit installation location.

Quick checks when something goes wrong
