In addition to courses your company creates itself, Tanca provides an external course library called Skillify right within the Training module. This article explains what it does and when to use it.
Open Skillify

Go to Training and select Skillify in the left column. The course library opens right inside Tanca with no need to sign in again — the system shows a Signed in successfully message and uses your Tanca account directly.
The first time you open it, Skillify asks one question to recommend suitable courses: "Where are you in your career?" with five options:
- Just starting out (0–2 years of experience)
- Experienced (3–5 years)
- Expert / Senior (6–10 years)
- Team manager
- Senior manager / Director
Skillify's top bar has a search box, a Courses section, your accumulated points, a shopping cart, and your account.
When to use Skillify and when to create your own courses
| Content type | Recommended |
|---|---|
| Company-specific processes, products, rules, and culture | Create your own course in Course management — no outsider can teach these |
| General skills: communication, Excel, time management, leadership | Skillify — rebuilding them from scratch takes effort and isn't any better |
| Industry knowledge updated annually | Skillify, if the library has suitable content |
| Compliance content under Vietnamese regulations | Create your own, and have your legal team review the content |
Skillify courses are not part of your company's Course management, so you can't turn on In mandatory path for them and they don't appear in the mandatory training completion report. For mandatory content whose completion must be tracked, create your own course in Tanca.
Three things to do before introducing Skillify to employees
- Open it yourself and check whether the library has content relevant to your company's industry.
- Confirm costs and access rights with Tanca — Skillify has a shopping cart and reward points, so you need to know clearly which content is free, which is paid, and who pays.
- Agree internally: whether employees take Skillify courses during or outside working hours, and whether they count toward training targets.
Skillify's cost and access policy needs company confirmation before being included in customer-facing guides. This article only describes what was observed in the interface.
