For administrators

  • An employee submitted a request but nobody received it — why? That request type has no approval workflow yet, or the Initiation block of the flow does not include the submitter's branch/department. See article B8-04.
  • Where are leave types configured? In Requests › Settings › Leave › gear icon › + Add, not in Time & Attendance › Settings › Leave. See article B8-08.
  • How many request types should be enabled at initial rollout? Four: Leave, Overtime, Business Trip, Salary Advance. Add more gradually later.
  • Can I set a condition like "if the amount is greater than X" in a flow? Not directly. The workaround is to split it into several sub-forms by threshold, each with its own flow. See article B8-05.
  • What if an approver leaves the company? Edit the flow and replace them with Line manager or Job title so you don't have to edit it again next time. See article B8-06.
  • Should I enable Auto-approve? Only for record-keeping requests such as meal registration or remote-work notices. Never for requests involving money or working days.

For managers

  • Is bulk approval safe? Only for requests of the same type that you have already reviewed. Don't bulk-approve leave requests — you will miss cases where the whole department is off on the same day.
  • Can I approve a request after rejecting it? No. The employee must submit a new request. So write your rejection reason very clearly.
  • I'm on a business trip for a week — how will my team's requests be handled? Ask the administrator to add a second approver to your step, with the method set to only 1 person needs to approve. See article B8-06.
  • Is approving requests on the phone enough? Yes for simple requests. Requests that require checking the whole team's schedule or financial figures are better reviewed on a computer.

For employees

  • How many leave days do I have left? The leave balance table appears right in the leave request form after you select your name, in the Remaining column.
  • Why didn't my remaining leave decrease after I submitted a request? The Used column only counts requests that have been approved. Pending requests are not deducted yet.
  • I submitted the wrong request — can I edit it? Pending requests can usually be edited or canceled. Approved requests depend on the configuration. See article B8-13.
  • How many days has my request been waiting? Open the request to see which step it is stuck at, and message the approver directly with the request code.
  • Can I swap shifts verbally? No. The system still records you as the person on shift and will count you as absent if you don't clock in. You must submit a request.
  • Can I work overtime first and request approval afterward? Most companies require requesting in advance. If you request afterward, the approver has no way to verify it and it is usually rejected.
  • Does an approved leave request automatically go into the timesheet? Yes. The leave days appear automatically with no extra action needed.
  • Does an approved overtime request automatically get calculated into pay? Overtime hours go into the timesheet using the rate of the selected overtime type. If you choose the wrong type, the rate will be wrong.
  • What does unpaid leave affect? That day is not paid. The effect on insurance and seniority depends on regulations — ask your company's HR department.
  • What if the timesheet is already locked and a new request gets approved? You must unlock the timesheet and recalculate. So process all outstanding requests before closing the period (article B6-15).
