I uploaded a file and it said “Done,” but I can't find the file?

This is almost always because you uploaded directly at the root of My documents instead of into a folder. This is a known bug that has been passed to the development team. To avoid it: open a folder first, then click Upload. If the file still doesn't appear when uploading into a folder, submit a support request with the file name and time.

Does the Information Center have version control?

Not yet. There is no version history, no way to compare two versions, and uploading a file with the same name creates an additional new file. Put the version number and effective date in the file name, and move old versions into a subfolder `_Expired`. See B20-03.

The “Anyone with the link” link opens a blank page?

Correct — the public view screen is not yet complete, so the link can be created but cannot yet open the content. Don't use this method to send documents to partners; switch the mode back to Restricted and share directly with people in the company. See B20-02.

I removed a department's access but got “Wrong body”?

This is a known server error in the People with access block, logged on September 5, 2026. While waiting for a fix, a safe workaround: move the document into a new folder that hasn't been shared with anyone, then share it again with exactly the people who need it. Also submit a support request so Tanca can remove the access on the system side.

My “Recent” section is always empty?

Correct, the module does not yet record file opens, so Recent is usually empty and the Last opened column uses the created date. Use Favorites instead: star the documents you need to come back to.

I filtered by “Documents” but the results include folders?

The file type filter currently always returns folders as well. This has been logged for a fix. When you need an exact count, subtract the folder rows, or use the search box by name.

Can I recover something after deleting it?

Yes, within 30 days. Go to Trash and select Restore — the document returns to its original location (the Original location column tells you where that is). After 30 days, items are permanently deleted automatically. Trash does not yet have an Empty trash button; you must delete items one by one or select multiple rows.

How do I set a storage quota for each department?

This is not possible yet: turning on the Quota by department toggle only shows the line “No department rules yet” and there is no button to add a rule. Use Quota by member — enter the default number of GB for each person. Enter a positive integer and check the value again after saving.

Is it safe to turn on “Internal network only”?

Don't turn it on yet. This toggle refers to a list of allowed IPs, but the product currently has no place to define that list. Turning it on while the list is empty risks locking the entire organization out of the module on the web. Contact Tanca first if you need to restrict by IP.

Can I put payroll documents and contracts here?

Not recommended. The Information Center sets permissions by file and folder, not by HR data scope. Payroll uses the Payroll module's own permissions (B9-15); personal records and documents belong in the employee profile (B2-11). The Information Center is for shared documents: workflows, workplace rules, forms, training materials.

What happens when the person in charge of documents leaves the company?

Use Transfer ownership in the `…` menu of each folder before their last day. If it's already too late, submit a support request to Tanca. Add this task to your offboarding checklist (B2-08).
