A collection of the most common questions when starting to use OKR, KPI and BSC in Tanca, with short answers and links to detailed guides.
Setup

| I can't create an objective — the button is grayed out? | You don't have an OKR cycle yet, or the current cycle doesn't include you. See article B11-02 to create a cycle and check the Branch / Department / Job title filters |
| The OKR cycle shows 0 members? | You didn't select a Branch when creating the cycle, or the Department / Job title filter is too narrow. Click Edit on the cycle row to broaden it |
| Should I use OKR or KPI Sheet? | OKR for directional objectives linked across levels; KPI Sheet for periodic scoring at large volume. See article B11-01 |
| What is "BSC level" in the objective form? | It is a rank number from 1–5, not the four BSC perspectives. The four perspectives are in KPI & MBO › BSC KPI |
While a cycle is running

| My objective always shows 0% even though I've done the work? | The objective has no key results yet, or it has KRs but nobody has updated their values. See article B11-12 |
| My KR shows 240% — what's wrong? | This is a lower is better KR. The percentage on the KR row is currently calculated incorrectly; read the percentage on the objective row instead. See article B11-08 |
| A newly created objective is already flagged as at risk? | The default risk threshold is 50% and currently only considers the percentage, not the time remaining. Treat this flag as a list to review, not a conclusion |
| Can I edit someone else's objective? | It depends on the Objective update - delete permissions table in OKR Settings. See article B11-11 |
| The converted score in KPI Sheet isn't calculated automatically? | Correct — the CONVERTED SCORE column currently has to be entered by hand; the thresholds are for reference only. See article B11-05 |
| The FINAL RESULT column shows 0 for everyone? | The overall KPI formula is calling a keyword that isn't among the sheet's criteria. See article B11-03 |
Reports and closing a cycle

| The Company tab in OKR is always empty? | The objective creation form doesn't yet have a Scope field, so company objectives are filed under Individual. See how to handle this in article B11-07 |
| Talent › Reports says "Unable to load report"? | This is an existing limitation. Use the Export file button in OKR, Alignment Map and KPI Sheet to get the data. See article B11-10 |
| Can a KPI sheet be reopened after it is locked? | Treat the Lock action as one-way and complete the checklist before clicking it. See article B11-09 |
| What do I do when an OKR cycle ends? | Export the objective list and the alignment map, then create a new cycle. Do not delete the old cycle — its data will be lost with it |
| Creating a KPI & MBO cycle fails at step 2? | This is an existing limitation of the module. Use KPI Sheet instead. See article B11-06 |
