This article lists what the Training module can't do yet in the current version, along with workarounds. The goal is to keep businesses from building processes around features that don't exist yet.
REQUIRES COMPANY CONFIRMATION before publishing. The items in this article are based on observations of the interface on the review date. The product team needs to confirm each item before publishing, and update it when features are added.
Classroom training and attendance
| Task | Current status |
|---|---|
| Create a classroom-type course | Not available. There is only a New online course button |
| Create an offline-type test | Available. The Test type field has an Offline option (article B16-05) |
| Take attendance for training sessions | Not available in the Training module |
| Schedule training sessions | Not available. The Training plan section is labeled Coming soon |
Workaround for an in-person classroom session:
- Create an online course containing the session materials, so learners can preview and review them.
- Create a test with Test type = Offline to grade the in-class work.
- Take attendance using a tool available outside the Training module — for example, a request or a separate timesheet for the session.
- Record the session results in the test so they show up in training reports.
Completion certificates
No feature for issuing completion certificates was found in the Training module in the reviewed version: it isn't in the course settings, it isn't in the module's Settings section, and there is no separate section for certificates. The product team needs to confirm.
In the meantime, businesses that need certificates can do the following:
- Use Reports › Mandatory training completion as proof of completion (article B16-09).
- Export the list of people who passed from the report and issue certificates using your company's own template.
- Save a copy of the certificate in the Documents tab of the employee profile, so it stays with that person's profile.
Assigning courses by job title
The course creation and editing screens have no field for selecting the target audience, even though the guidance in Learning path setup mentions one. This means mandatory courses currently apply to everyone and can't yet target a specific job title or department. See the workaround in article B16-06.
Four Coming soon sections
| Section | Will be used for |
|---|---|
| Knowledge base | A library of reference materials, separate from courses |
| Knowledge management | Administering the knowledge base |
| Training plan | Planning and scheduling training by period |
| AI assistant | An AI assistant for the Training module |
Do not include these four sections in commitments to customers until they are actually released. The Help Center will add guides when they become available.
Two recorded interface bugs
| Bug | Impact |
|---|---|
| The Exam paper column displays `1 exam paper` instead of the Vietnamese 1 đề thi | Only a translation error; it doesn't affect functionality |
| The Skillify section takes about 15–20 seconds to show content, and the frame is completely blank in the meantime | Users think the page is broken and leave |
